BECKY'S STORY
Welcome, aspiring legal professionals!
Hello and you are very welcome to our page. My name is Becky Anderson, originally from Galway, presently working in Dublin as a Trainee Solicitor at a leading Irish corporate law firm. My legal academic journey began in the University of Limerick in 2015, but due to life's unforeseen events - I transferred to University of Galway in 2017. Eventually, I graduated with a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from the University of Galway, ranking in first place of the 2021 class.
Following my university experience, I tackled the FE1 examinations while working as a knowledge paralegal in the banking and financial regulation sector. After a rewarding 16 months, I embarked on an adventure across many countries over the most incredible 14 months. I worked on my business throughout my travels - sometimes with the laptop out in the most bizarre places! Now, I am back in Ireland with a solid desktop to work from, eager to share my insights and resources with you through Becky’s Notes.
Beyond the realm of law, I am a fitness enthusiast - with a particular love for hockey, running, and weight-lifting. My zest for life extends to the great outdoors, where you'll often find me hiking and embracing nature’s splendour.

Embarking on FE1 exams can be daunting.
Embarking on the FE1 examinations can be daunting, and I was in your shoes not long ago. I really do understand the stress these exams weigh on your shoulders. I found there is an 'impending doom' regarding the FE-1 examinations - but there really doesn't have to be. I do not come from a legal background or a wealth of resources. I navigated these challenges and passed with flying colours. And you know what? It wasn't all that bad! Now I am here to assure you: success isn't about wealth or connections—it’s about having the right tools and determination.
I approached my FE1s in two sittings. For my preparation, I identified a need for concise, up-to-date, and comprehensive study materials and so, I made my own! After my exams, I gave a good friend my notes for some of her remaining exams which she passed using solely my notes. She encouraged me to pursue this and thus I launched Becky’s Notes in 2022, and it has since become a platform that has helped over a thousand students in achieving exam success.
